Marie Salgado

Immigration Paralegal

Marie Salgado was born in Quito, Ecuador. She studied at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador for five years and got her degree as Doctor in Jurisprudence/Attorney. She came to the U.S. in 2004 with her husband and son and lived in Dallas, TX for eleven years. She

got her Paralegal Certificate at Southern Methodist University (SMU - Dallas) in 2013. Marie worked as an Immigration Paralegal in a law firm in Dallas, TX for four years and following that, she moved with her family to New York where she worked at a law firm in the NY/CT area for 4 years. In 2019, she joined Angel Law Firm where she works as an Immigration Paralegal, specializing in individual, and family petitions and naturalizations.
She loves to work in immigration because it allows her the opportunity to meet people from other countries and help them. Her satisfaction is to see her clients get their goal to stay in the U.S. and have the option of a better future for themselves and their families. She enjoys playing pickleball, Zumba classes, watching movies with her family, and going to the dog park with “Mia” my Frenchie dog.
