Damaris Vazquez was born and raised in Lares, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Seminole State College with an AA Degree in Legal Studies. From there, she continued her schooling at Troy University under their Criminal Justice program. Prior to working at Angel Law Firm, she worked as a paralegal in personal injury and immigration law for 2 other Orlando-based law firms where she worked as part of the litigation team as well as the administrative team, respectively. She has been a part of Angel Law Firm since its inception in 2013 when she began working as an assistant and paralegal in the areas of personal injury, immigration, criminal law, and bankruptcy. Over the years, she was an integral part of setting up many of the ongoing processes currently being used in the office from case management and IT work to administrative mandates. Due to her dedication and consistent effort, as well as a passion for making the work more efficient for her team and clients, she was promoted to office manager and has been in this role for over 8 years. Although she wears many hats as part of her administrative and HR duties in the office, the most rewarding part of her work is doing client-based work, often assisting with client intakes as well as case closings. Damaris is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
On her personal time, Damaris enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters and loves reading, crafts, and Broadway shows with her oldest child.
